Chained CPI is not a fair deal to our senior citizens, who have paid into the system their whole lives. It's time for corporations and the top 1% to pay their fair share of taxes to help the government balance the budget. President Obama please do not put this on the table!
Why is this important?
This petition is to ask that Chained CPI not be a bargaining chip for cut money being spent. One thing that politicians seem to forget is that the citizens of this country have paid into Social Security their whole working lives. How can you cut something that has already been paid into? It's not right, and it is not fair!!!
