Save Social Security and cost of living increases

Say no to President Obama's proposal to cut Social Security by lowering the cost-of-living adjustment for current and future retirees. Cost of living cuts will hurt seniors who have paid into the system for their whole lives and are already struggling with rising health care costs.

Why is this important?

I am a senior citizen and I work part time to just barely get by. A couple years ago there was no cost of living adjustment and I DID NOT get by. I had to use my credit to supplement my income and this put me even further behind and added to the strain on the economy. I can't borrow more so a cost of living decrease will devastate me and seniors who have paid into the system for their whole lives and are already struggling with rising health care costs.
