Save the Livingston, MT HISTORIC Underground Tunnels in the original Railroad Gateway city to the first National Park in the world, Yellowstone National Park.
Why is this important?
In their engineering studies, the city manager and city planning officers have ignored the historic underground tunnels that were vital to establishing Livingston, MT as the original gateway to the World's first national park, Yellowstone National Park, and the city's rich international culture that built the railroads.
We the undersigned, petition the Livingston public officials and anyone with whom they contract, to provide, once the engineering study is complete, the funding for the saving of the vaults, sidewalk basements, tunnels, etc. discussed above— whether directly, through grants overseen and procured by the City of Livingston during the winter of 2015-2016, existing funding sources like the Urban Renewal Agency, public or private funding, or directly from the City of Livingston public funds
