Save the Post Office at Michaels Hallmark!
Dear United States Postmaster General,
Re: Closure of Post Office at 1219 South Mary Avenue, Sunnvale, CA 94087
We, the neighbors in Sunnyvale, Cupertino, Mountain View, and Los Altos use the Post Office in Michael's Hallmark store regularly. It's an easy place to buy stamps, get supplies, but mostly to send packages and special mail deliveries.
The large post offices in our areas are always crowded and can take hours to get services done. In Michaels, we get a chance to shop while we wait in line and often run into someone we know.
The post office is for the people of the surrounding area. It's not for the big businesses. It's been a mainstay in our community and is always the go to for postal services. It would be a huge disservice to take that away from us.
Please reconsider closing this location.
