Protect the voting rights of United States citizens by stopping state politicians from creating laws and policies which impact the Voting Rights Act of 1965 negatively. Georgia State Senator Fran Millar plans to "eliminate loopholes" that will allow Sunday voting in predominately Democratic neighborhoods and Governor Nathan Deal agrees. When did Sunday voting become a "loophole"?
Why is this important?
Our government officials should be looking for ways to include every citizen in the voting process and not working to eliminate voters by making it harder for them to get to the polls by adding restrictions on early voting. When they demonstrate this kind of behavior they need to held criminally liable.
