schools not feeding kids
I can not believe a school would deny a student lunch reguardless of if he/ she owes money already I know peanut butter and bread is not that exspensive give them that at least do not let them stay at school all day hungry. I know if someone heard I didnt feed my kids they would call DHS on me so I feel the schools should have to deal with them as well. Lets join together to fix this issue. We are suppost to be againist world hunger so lets fight this issue to help end the world issue by at least feeding them something at school. I am a parent and this has me upset because I can not stand to see a kid cry because they are hungry and then they do not want to go to school because they feel they may be told they can not eat. Please help me so we can get this issue resolved . I agree with a bus driver in Georgia who got fired because he was upset because a child was told no and he said as a tax payer use the tax money and help the child eat. There is no reason for this at all
Why is this important?
You should be concerned because one day your child may come home hungry and upset because they could not eat at school all day and had to watch others eat. I have seen this happen and had it happen to a family member and I am a mother of a child that will be in school in a few years.
