Postmaster General Louis DeJoy is one Trump crony who didn’t leave on January 20. In fact, the post office could be stuck with him indefinitely. Which is why we need President Joe Biden and the Senate to immediately fill the vacancies on the Postal Board of Governors with appointees who will hold Louis DeJoy accountable for the damage he’s done. DeJoy was selected by Donald Trump to sabotage the post office in order to privatize it. With a Republican majority and three empty Democratic seats, the current Board of Governors has allowed DeJoy to carry out Trump’s will by strategically dismantling the functioning of posts offices across the country. The Postal Board of Governors is the boss of the Postmaster General. They hire and fire the postmaster, review all practices of the post office, and along with the Postal Regulatory Commission, set policies for the postal service. The Board of Governors can set a new direction for the post office, and we can ensure this happens by filling the vacancies on its Board of Governors.

This petition was created in response to Bill HB0206 – A New Mexico Bill That Would Criminalize Abortions After Rape As 'Tampering With Evidence'. This petition is signed by New Mexicans who are concerned about what the passing of this bill would mean for the women of this state. To require a woman who was raped to carry the baby to term is cruel and inhumane. You state that the purpose of the bill is to punish the perpetrator of the crime, but in the end it is the woman and the child who is born from this horrendous crime who will be the ones who suffer in the long term. Women in New Mexico have a right to choose whether or not to carry the baby to term, and it should be left up to them to determine the best course of action for herself and the baby. We request that you withdraw this bill. Thank you.

We are asking you and reporter, Tom Llamas to issue an apology. Instead of reporting on the desperate circumstances of Hurricane Harvey with compassion, he actually diverted first responder resources that could be used to save stranded families--and called the police on victims searching for food.

Tell the news media to stop reporting Trump's sophomoric tweets, such as demeaning individuals who do not support him, or lying about DC dress shops being sold out of inauguration dresses. These are not newsworthy and distract from important issues.

All workers deserve at least $15/hr! Restaurant workers and tipped workers included! We are professionals who deserve fair wages too. Support fair wages for all, including service workers. The minimum wage needs to increase because it is too low!! And there shouldn't be a SUB-minimum wage for anyone! All workers deserve a fair wage, and tipped workers deserve to be able to keep their tips on top, and not have employers use tips to subsidize their low, sub-human, sub-standard wages.
