I am writing this comment on behalf of our nation's farm workers whose hard work makes it possible for us to have food on our table every day. The Trump DOL's proposed changes to rules governing the H-2A agricultural guestworker program would make it easier to deny jobs to our nation's current farm workers so employers can hire more temporary foreign field laborers and pay them less. It would depress pay for domestic workers and reduce existing protections for both domestic and foreign workers. The federal government indicates more than half of farm workers are U.S. citizens or legal permanent residents; the proposed changes would negatively impact many of these farm workers. Please stop the harmful changes in this rule today.

Mandatory high and secure fencing for all pit bull owners. 4. Mandatory licensing/registration of all pit bulls (and for that documentation to be submitted from the owners to all neighbors living within a mile of pit bull's residence and beforehand for anyone who may ever visit/enter that residence.) 5. Statewide minimum charges for those who own a pit bull that undully attacks any person.

This petition is to request our Hawaii State House of Representatives to fund MISC and stop the spread of deafening Coqui Frogs from ruining Maui.

Hawaii State owns a reservoir of breeding Coqui frogs in its 103-acre Maliko Gulch parcel. The State needs to provide funds for the eradication of this literally deafening invasive frog.

The focus right now is to address Presidential rule changes that can be overturned easily on January 21st -see below. TO DONALD TRUMP : On December 1st the level of salary or exemption for over time which has not been changed for 12 years moves up to $47,892 from the current $23,660- yes you can be paid $11.37 an hour and not earn overtime in some jobs. This is a good economic policy which will increase employment and needs to be preserved.
