We have a critical window of opportunity to stop this before the new term starts in January. Please contact the President and your congressional representatives now to voice your opposition.

The state of New Mexico has created a behavioral health crisis by abruptly canceling Medicaid payments to nearly every in-state provider because of unsubstantiated claims of mismanagement by a few. In the meantime, our patients have lost access to their doctors, their pharmacy services, and their providers. New Mexico needs a health care hero to intervene. I urge you to protect New Mexico's most vulnerable behavioral health patients while allegations in the state's secret audit are properly investigated. Support our legislators asking you to limit HSD's unnecessarily broad interpretation of the new ACA rules and restore Medicaid funding to our New Mexico providers and patients until this controversy is resolved.

We urge you to vote for Rep. Joaquín Castro for Chair of the House Foreign Affairs Committee and chart a new direction for American diplomacy!

We are asking our representatives to write a new forest plan. They are required to write a new plan every 10 to 15 years and the old one is 16 years old. Their management practices are outdated.

Don't let the conglomerates obtain control of the media outlets in our communities. Just imagine Fox News and the Wall Street Journal being the only source of news in your district. They are not your friends.

The people of Maine have flatly rejected your agenda by voting for a new governing majority and a new direction for our state. We urge you to do the right thing and not stand in the Legislature's way.

Until you and the House Republicans take action, the suffering in our communities will continue. Show your support for immigrants in New Jersey and co-sponsor the new House immigration bill with a path to citizenship.

Low income families live in communities with few job opportunities, and in many cases have no choice but to rent from slum lords & live in substandard conditions (in apartments buildings which are insect and rodent infested, unsanitary, and in disrepair). We petition the state of New York to provide a funding mechanism (grant and loan programs) for worker cooperatives and non-profit real estate trusts.

I urge the New Jersey Department of Environmental Protection to reject all pending permits for Transco's proposed Northeast Supply Enhancement (NESE) project to build a gas compressor station in Franklin Township, a pipeline through Old Bridge and Sayreville, and 23 miles of pipeline through the Raritan Bay.  This project is a threat to our marine life and environment. NJ DEP has the right and obligation to protect the quality of our local waters, and they  must reject these permits for the Northeast Supply Enhancement proposal.
