Governor Hickenlooper should sign HB 1226 when it arrives on his desk to keep guns out of classrooms in our state-funded institutions of higher learning.

Give California insurance regulators authority to deny or roll back health insurance rate increase proposals that they deem excessive.

Prohibit someone who has drug and/or alcohol convictions in participating in sports involving minors (coach, referee, assistance coach, etc). This person is not a 'role-model' for our children.

Please sign to help bring justice to this school, and to not allow an administration of bullies to use the tragic events of Sandy Hook Elementary as an excuse to terrorize those they are charged to serve. The staff that thought they were risking should be rewarded for there bravery

Seattle Men's Chorus has continued, despite efforts from the Deaf community to intervene, to place Mr. Kevin Gallagher, who is not qualified as an ASL Interpreter for their performances. We are asking for an apology, Mr. Gallagher to be removed from his position, a qualified ASL Interpreter to be hired, and for Seattle Men's Chorus to work with Theatre, Allies and Deaf Audiences (TADA) to learn about providing appropriate access to Deaf audiences and to select the appropriate ASL interpreter.

Increasing consumer demand is the key to new GDP, new jobs, new tax revenues, and lower debt. $2 trillion of new injections into money in circulation will restore our economy and reduce 90 percent of all our social ills.

Our local governments are losing millions of dollars in taxes because "big box" retailers are unfairly having their property assessments slashed through appeals. Lawmakers from both parties introduced bills aimed at stopping the reduced assessments. Support HB 4909 and SB 524.

We, the student body of Huntington North and others, believe that the firing of Mr. Thom Duncan by the Huntington County Community School Corporation was unjustifiable. We see bullying as an act of aggression and intended harm against another individual. We do not believe that the incident which occurred was intentional and that all students should be discouraged for sleeping in class. We also believe that one incident, especially one with such low severity, should not result in the firing of an individual. We wish for the school board to realize its mistake and to reverse its decision. Thereby, reinstating Mr. Thom Duncan as a teacher at Huntington North High School or allowing him to resign with dignity and without false accusations of bullying while a teacher at Huntington County Community Schools.

There are too few tests and testing facilities being made available to allow a per capita rate similar to other countries. Emergency funds should implement existing technologies, made available immediately via CDC, public health laboratories, and any other outlets which can be created. Even if the government makes testing free in theory, in practice it does no good unless there are enough tests to make a difference. And it should be now, not in six weeks as recent government contracts mandate.
