I am a Muslim student attending the University of South Florida. On November 18, 2025, students that were attending a Fajr prayer event held on campus by the Muslim Students Association were needlessly harassed by three men, were spat at, yelled at, called "devil worshippers" and more. My question is, why didn't campus security intervene and stop the situation from escalating? Why hasn't the university put out a statement against such actions taking place? The men were not students, how were they allowed onto the campus? If the administration refuses to address the concerns about rising Islamophobia on campus, such harassment and attacks will become commonplace on campus. I demand that administration take the safety of their muslim students into consideration and increase the security presence on campus. Contamination shouldn’t be hidden. The public remains virtually uninformed about the level of contamination on the site of the proposed natural gas power plant in Birdsboro. Denied this information, the community has been prevented from engaging in the public participation processes in an informed way. We, the undersigned, are calling on you to require Birdsboro Power LLC to make public the Phase 1 and Phase 2 environmental site assessments completed in 2016. We further call on you to require the Pennsylvania Department of Environmental Protection re-open comment periods on all state pending permits and certificates required for this project to allow an informed public to weigh in.

This bill authorizes the sale of two parking lots adjacent to the Employment Development Department's (EDD) multipurpose center at 745 Franklin Street in San Francisco. This site serves several EDD branches including Unemployment Services, Disability Insurance, Workforce Services, and Employment Tax. The sale of these lots would cause immediate and long-term financial hardship on and compromise the safety of the hundreds of state employees who rely on them and who provide valuable and integral services to the citizens of the State of California.

In 2008, Epstein pleaded guilty to a felony charge of solicitation of prostitution involving a minor, and was sentenced to 18 months in prison; he served 13 and was granted work release, which allowed him to commute to an office outside the jail (12 hours a day) six days a week. He also registered as a sex offender. He is about to receive another "sweetheart" of a deal. He could be released with bond and if convicted again be allowed to "pay off" his victims once again. Assault weapons have no place on American streets. My cousin, Dani and his partner, Jean, were looking forward to building a life together in Florida. But they were murdered at Pulse nightclub, along with 47 others, on June 12, 2016, by a man filled with hate and armed with a weapon of war. These firearms allow murderers to kill hundreds of people within minutes. Las Vegas was no different. The gunmen killed 59 people and injured 527 others in under 10 minutes from his 32nd floor hotel suite across the street, all made possible by military-style assault weapons.

We hear a lot of how the WH failed to provide proper security for our overseas Embassies. We need to know the truth on just how we failed. If it was because of underfunding we need to know how this happened and just who is to blame for this. Many times in the last 12 years our Embassies have been attack. This is a failing in that somewhere we have dropped the ball in protecting to the best of our ability those in other countries. It also seemed that those countries didn't live up to their obligations to help in the safety our our Embassies and their staff. are they part of the problem? and why.

We are calling on House Speaker David Ralston and other members of the Georgia House GOP leadership who have contributed to Chris Boedeker’s political campaign to denounce Boedeker’s false political attack ad and to apologize to Rep. Scott Holcomb, a 12-year military veteran who served his country honorably, including three overseas deployments in support of the operations in Bosnia, Afghanistan and Iraq. Georgia’s elected officials should not choose their political party over the honorable service of a U.S. veteran. They must choose to either stand with Chris Boedeker or with Georgia’s veterans. They cannot do both.

Our son, Roy Alvin Adams, Jr., has been wrongfully accused and sentenced for a crime he did not commit. He was convicted in August 2005 of intoxication manslaughter for the June 12, 2004 death of Grapevine, Texas police officer, Darren Medlin. Without diminishing our condolences to the Medlin family in any way, our son was not drunk. One of the most sought after and highly respected epilepsy experts in Dallas/Ft. Worth testified our son had a petit mal seizure to explain the cause of the accident. Please help us seek justice.

We, the undersigned, applaud the White House and the Office of National AIDS Policy (ONAP) for the National HIV/AIDS Strategy and the initiation of the 12 Cities Project. However, there is an urgent need to initiate the next steps towards eradicating HIV/AIDS. The evidence is clear: The Southeast has the highest rates of both new HIV diagnoses and HIV deaths, as well as poor social determinants of health. We therefore request that resources be targeted to develop models of integrated HIV/AIDS prevention, care and treatment for rural, midsize, and urban communities typical of those in the Southeastern region of the United States.
