I'm standing with the Garcia family's request for an investigation of the death of Santos Hilario Garcia and Marcelina Garcia Porfecto. The morning of March 13 this farm worker couple died in a car crash while fleeing ICE agents. Their six children -- now without parents -- are forced to fend for themselves and need your support. They are casualties of the Trump administration's targeting of hardworking immigrant farm workers who sacrifice to feed all of us. It is deeply distressing that ICE agents' statements are contradicted by a surveillance video showing two ICE SUVs traveling behind the couple's vehicle with emergency lights activated, according to the Delano police. California Attorney General Xavier Becerra please launch an investigation so that this farm worker family can receive justice. Thank you.

The endorsement by the Working Families Party of candidates who aggressively pursue non-violent drug arrests, particularly marijuana, was misleading to New Paltz voters and should be revoked. Fire Philip Leber from WFP for wrongfully refusing to interview valid criminal justice reform candidates and giving the WFP endorsement (by default) to Neil Bettez and Daniel Torres despite their aggressive pursuit of Marijuana, Underage Drinking, and non-violent drug arrests. Revoke the endorsement of these candidates due to their policy of 36% of all arrests in New Paltz being for marijuana and underage drinking, which is directly against the Working Family Party platform of the legalization of marijuana and the reduction of marijuana arrests.

In the interest of transparency, the American people, whose signatures appear below, are demanding an appointment of a Special Independent Investigator in order to clarify who was involved in and what was done, with reference to the tampering of the US election of 2016 by Russian operatives.

Legislation is proceeding in Minnesota that seeks to eliminate a public subsidy program, eliminate a political contribution refund program, cut the Campaign Finance Board budget and end the Board's rulemaking authority. Inaction by the legislature has removed the Board's quorum and it can't act. We oppose this effort!
