CITIZENS' AMENDMENT: Amend the Constitution to Place Term Limits on Members of CongressThe 2016 election has been dominated by candidates who are promising to do the work of the American people. Candidates claim to want to make America great, revolutionize politics, be the peoples' champion. With such a focus on people and progress, more and more American people are being pulled into the political process and are expressing disdain, distrust, and disgust with the way the government operates. The government operates to serve itself and people in all levels of politics live in an isolated bubble that prevents them from understanding real hardship and pain and prevents them from sitting down to compromise and get things done. While much attention has been placed on the Presidential race, reforming the way Congress does business is even more critical than the woman or man who will be our country's next leader. Congress makes the laws. Congress is the body of people that we elect to represent our communities. They owe us explanations and must always be held accountable. Congress, however, is broken. The sad truth is that it is so broken that it no longer pretends to do the will of the people, and often devolves into make-believe partisan bickering that is merely a distraction from real issues, real challenges, and very real corruption. Members of Congress are out of touch with the American people, intentionally. They do not represent us. They don't try to represent us. They've stopped acting as though the care about representing us, unless it is for a thirty-second sound-clip, popular hashtag, or stunt to gain media attention. They represent special interest groups, wealthy campaign contributors, corporations, lobbyists, and other immoral and dishonest groups that seek to make Congress a playground of the wealthy and the well-connected. They make fools of us when they strike deals behind closed doors in exchange for campaign donations, kickbacks, or special favors. WE make fools of ourselves when we let them do this. Whenever we fight over important issues without sitting back and demanding compromise, they win. Whenever we bicker over really emotional and really complex crises and insult our fellow citizens, they win. Whenever we sit back and say we distrust Congress more than any other group, but vote in the VERY SAME Representatives and Senators, they win. Whenever we focus on pettiness and let the media distract us from their blatant disregard for our views and our sovereignty as the people of the United States, they win. It is time to impose sensible term limits on members of the House of Representatives and the Senate. Not by law and not by asking. It is time that we DEMAND that members of Congress enshrine this in the Constitution. This petition calls on members of Congress to vote on and approve a Constitutional Amendment to impose term limits on members of the House and the Senate. This petition also calls on the two major parties (the Democrats and Republicans), the two growing minor parties (the Libertarians and the Green Party) and all other political parties to make amending the Constitution to impose term limits a part of their platforms that they adopt at their conventions and support on the campaign trail. Finally, this petition calls on all major party and minor party nominees and "presumptive nominees" to add term limits to their individual campaign platforms. This petition recommends the following: Imposing a five-term (10-year) limit on Members of the House of Representatives and; Imposing a two-term (12-year) limit on Members of the Senate. This petition recommends the following language be used as working-text for the proposed Constitutional Amendment: Section 1. No person shall be eligible to serve more than 8 years in the United States House of Representatives. Section 2. No person shall be eligible to serve more than 12 years in the United States Senate. Section 3. No term of any person serving in the United States House of Representatives or the United States Senate, at the time of the ratification of this Amendment, shall be taken into account. Section 4. The Congress shall have the power to reduce the number of years that a Person is eligible to serve in the United States House of Representatives or the United States Senate. Section 5. The Congress may not increase the number of years that a Person is eligible to serve in the United States House of Representatives or the United States Senate." You, the Members of Congress, owe use this. Because WE, the People of the United States, are sovereign. We are tired of your corruption, inefficiency, your scandals, and your inability to do your jobs. WE the People demand change.2 of 100 SignaturesCreated by Dylan Frendt

Time Warner: Don't Sell To Rupert MurdochDon't sell Time Warner to Rupert Murdoch. A combined Time Warner and 21st Century Fox would create a company so large that it would radically transform the U.S. media landscape. It would be terrible for consumers and the market.1,411 of 2,000 SignaturesCreated by Angelo S. Carusone, Media Matters for America

Keep Shamar AKA Shimmy @ Middletown North for his last year!!!!Shamar AKA Shimmy started attending Thorne Middle School for his 5 grade school year, and graduated from Thorne and then went on to attend Middletown High School North. Shamar will be a rising Senior for the 2024-2025 upcoming school year. Here is where the problem started, I was renting a house in Port Monmouth, and in December of 2023 we had to move out of the house due to the owners wanted to sell the property. After moving out we had to stay in a couple of hotels for months on end because I could not find another house or apartment in Middletown Township so that I could assure Shamar (Shimmy) would be able to finish his last year at MNH. In March I had to make a major decision to take a home in Keansburg so that I could have a stable roof over my sons and I head. So he is now considered a Keansburg resident and must attend Keansburg High School. When the parent that I am tried to fight to keep him at MHN by going to court, and because Shamar has an IEP Keansburg is not going to let him attend MHN because “They have the services that are but in place through his IEP” I truly understand all of this. But people this is this young man’s last year, his SENIOR YEAR. He is on the bowling team, he was on the track team, he does countless hours of community service being a part of the Middletown Police Explores. Please help me keep Shamar AKA Shimmy at Middletown High School North for his Senior Year!!!! This is a message from a fellow officer who works with Shamar on the Police Explores!!!! “So I would still make the call to the Middletown Board of Ed office and make that claim that you were displaced from home around Xmas of 23 and have been bounced around to motel and hotel ever since. And that the assistance you receive has forced you to sign a lease in Keansburg just to keep a stable environment for Shamar who is a 16 year old autistic male. And that moving him out of his current HS of Midd North would not only be debating to his mental health but also throw him into a regression of behaviors you haven’t seen in years. Shamar is an active and positive member of the mHSN school. He’s a student athlete, a member of Middletown Police Explorers who does countless hours of community service. Moving him at one of the most pivotal and transitional time in a young man’s life will negatively affect his education and ability to successfully finish out his Senior year and could have irreparable damage on his mental health”1,410 of 2,000 SignaturesCreated by Shannon Ellis

Winter Clothes and Tents for Children in GazaPETITION TO HIS EXCELLENCY DR. YECHIEL (MICHAEL) LEITER Ambassador of Israel to the United States Embassy of Israel 3514 International Drive, N.W. Washington, D.C. 20008, USA From: Concerned Physicians and Health Professionals Date: December 14, 2025 Subject: Urgent Appeal to Facilitate Humanitarian and Medical Access to Gaza in Light of Winter Storm Byron, Blocked Winterized Aid, and Human Rights Conditions Dear Ambassador Leiter, At the outset, we wish to express our unequivocal condemnation of antisemitism in all its forms and to offer our condolences and solidarity to those affected by recent antisemitic attacks and threats reported in Bondi, and in other communities. As physicians committed to the dignity and safety of all people, we are morally outraged by acts of hatred, intimidation, and violence directed at Jewish individuals and institutions. Antisemitism is an assault on human dignity and has no place in medicine, academia, or civil society. We emphasize this unequivocally because opposition to antisemitism and concern for Palestinian civilian suffering are not in conflict. Both arise from the same ethical commitment to protect human life, oppose collective punishment, and prevent harm to civilians, especially children, wherever they may be. We write with grave concern regarding the ongoing humanitarian and public-health emergency in the Gaza Strip. This crisis, now compounded by the effects of Winter Storm Byron and corroborated by extensive reporting from Israeli, international, and United Nations humanitarian organizations, demands immediate action to prevent avoidable illness, suffering, and death. Our Requests 1. Immediate Entry of Blocked Winterized Aid: Facilitate without delay the entry of the approximately 6,500 humanitarian aid trucks currently blocked, with priority given to winterized shelters, blankets, warm clothing, heating fuel, food, clean water, and medical supplies. 2. Safe Access for Medical and Humanitarian Teams: Ensure the safe and unimpeded entry of international and regional medical personnel and humanitarian workers so that aid can be effectively distributed and medical care delivered. 3. Coordination With Humanitarian Agencies: Engage transparently with UN agencies, WHO, UNRWA, ICRC, Médecins Sans Frontières, Physicians for Human Rights–Israel, and other reputable organizations to establish predictable humanitarian corridors. 4. Protection of Civilians: Prioritize the protection of civilians, especially infants, children, the elderly, pregnant women, and individuals with chronic illness or disability, from exposure, deprivation, and preventable harm. Conclusion The convergence of winter storms, mass displacement, and the documented blocking of essential humanitarian aid has created a foreseeable and preventable public-health catastrophe. Preventing children from freezing is not a political issue, it is a medical, ethical, and humanitarian imperative. We urge immediate action consistent with the values of human dignity, protection of civilians, and opposition to all forms of hatred.
