We as the People are asking that Donald Trump be removed from the GOP ticket based on a national security risk and the risk he imposes upon us as the People of the UNITED States of America.

After Donald Trump's outrageous proposal to ban any Muslim from entering the United States, I offered in the Judiciary Committee a simple amendment to reaffirm the core value of religious freedom -- that we must not bar individuals from entering our country based on religion. This commonsense amendment, upholding one of the fundamental principles of our country, should have passed unanimously. But, incredibly, four of the 11 Republican Senators on our committee voted against it. We must be louder than ever, in the wake of Thursday's vote and the support for Donald Trump in his primary race, to push back on this right-wing backlash against Muslims. As patriotic citizens, we demand that the highly suspect 2016 Electoral College results, which were the direct target of hostile actions by Russia to manipulate/influence in favor of Donald Trump, be declared immediately invalid. The 3 main reasons are: 1) Russia's outright act of aggression through successfully targeted misinformation campaigns (aka Fake News) aimed at discrediting the Democratic Candidate (possibly Republican Primary candidates), and otherwise secure the successful election of Donald Trump; 2) Mr. Trump's public outcries condoning and encouraging continued hostile acts by the Russian Government of Vladimir Putin; and 3) FBI Director Comey's irresponsible influence on the Electoral College vote through the release of highly questionable information regarding the Democratic Candidate while withholding potentially compromising information Russia may possess regarding the Republican Candidate.
