We, the undersigned students and graduates of Dartmouth, faculty, parents and community members: Express our unqualified support for the recent protests at the show for prospective students. These protests against sexual violence as well as racism, homophobia, and other forms of prejudice have captured everyone's attention. In spite of predictable backlash, the student protesters courageously took the measures necessary to bring their concerns to light. The subsequent threats of death and rape that they received illustrate the truth of their claims. They now suffer through fear, social isolation, and demands that they be punished. We applaud the administration's decision to cancel classes in order to address the threatened violence against students, and we oppose any and all demands of punishment for the protesters. In considering the aftermath of this incident, we must not lose sight of their actual message. Their concerns are the realities of Dartmouth student life. We too have witnessed and experienced them in our own time at the College. We are saddened, but not surprised, by recent events. Significant reforms are needed to change the nature of social life at Dartmouth. The protesters' values are our values, and their demands are our demands.

I stand with mainstream New Hampshire voters in asking you to support universal background checks for all gun sales—including all private sales and transfers. Background checks save lives and do not conflict with the rights of law-abiding gun owners. I urge you to make America's families and communities safer by supporting legislation to require criminal and mental health background checks for all firearm sales.

Americans really need to get SIX YEAR TERM LIMITS on the 2018 BALLOT! Not tomorrow~ but TODAY! We need to get the LIFERS out of Washington D.C. for good! Fresh ideas, fresh movements, bills and legislation passed? We need CHANGE..

Unwarranted violence and abuses of Civil Rights by American law enforcement has reached a critical stage and people dying at the hands of the police seems to be escalating. We need our government to step up and protect the rights of ALL OF IT'S CITIZENS and stop allowing these abuses to continue.

If the scenic waterway bill (SB401) moves forward, it would impose severe restrictions to what property owners in the scenic boundary's (with in 1/4 mile from the waterway) can do on, and to their property. Even simple things like painting a house a certain color, installing a fence, or even building a shed/structure could be prohibited. The property may no longer be able to be sub-divided, and other larger structures like another house may not be possible. Many people have even lost there homes and property do to condemnation because the restriction are too severe! This could be YOUR property! Please help stop this by signing this petition!
