This country has become engulfed in a massive gun control debate since the Sandy Hook Elementary tragedy. We, as American Citizens, are wholeheartedly saddened over the recent tragedies that have occurred. However, no gun control laws could have prevented them. We the taxpaying citizens of (insert county) County, implore you Sheriff (insert name), to uphold your oath to protect and defend the United States Constitution against all threats, both foreign and domestic. Dear Governor Malloy, As a taxpayer and resident of Connecticut, I am outraged that our state and federal taxes are being used to fund a busway project (New Britain-Hartford Busway) that will damage the rail improvements in that same corridor. Order the CT Dept of Transportation to stop paving over the Amtrak line immediately . Order that a rail line must be used for RAIL service.

The drop from 17 Democratic debates prior to the 2008 Iowa caucuses to only four this year is outrageous. Democratic voters need a chance to have a vigorous conversation on the issues that matter to the American people. It's time to go back to the drawing board and schedule more debates.

In Bucks County, there is widespread confusion about the details of Pennsylvania's new Photo ID law. People throughout Bucks County need to be educated about the new requirements to vote in November. It is the obligation of the County Commissioners to run honest, efficient, and uniform elections. In order to do so, the County Commissioners must convene a Photo ID Task Force by May 15, 2012, to draw up a plan to educate the general public about the details of the Photo ID law and facilitate the processing of documents necessary for Bucks County residents to vote in November 2012. The task force must be representative of the entire county and operate transparently.

Women and people of color utilize facebook everyday to for a multitude of purposes. It is only right for women and people of color to be represented on the board of Facebook as a publicly traded company. Having only white men on the board of Facebook is a relic of a bygone era. We demand that 50% of board be filled with women and 30% of the board with people of color.
