Dear Mr. Mosseri, There is a new Artificial Intelligence Policy Instagram and Meta are adding to the Instagram Application as of June 26, 2024. We, the users on Instagram, do not want our art and likenesses to be used as sources for Meta to train their Artificial Intelligence on. We ask that you remove this program and give us our privacy and autonomy back. Technology may be entering a new age, but as Americans and users of this platform, we have a right to choose whether or not to be part of it. The American Declaration of Independence states; “We hold these truths to be self-evident, that all men are created equal, that they are endowed, by their Creator, with certain unalienable rights, that among these are life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness.--That to secure these rights, governments are instituted among men, deriving their just powers from the consent of the governed, that whenever any form of government becomes destructive of these ends, it is the right of the people to alter or to abolish it, and to institute new government, laying its foundation on such principles, and organizing its powers in such form, as to them shall seem most likely to effect their safety and happiness.” (Paragraph 2) You, sir, are the the head of Instagram’s government, and we the people are holding you accountable to not only ask for our consent when such policies are put in place, but also listen to us when such consent is not given. Our consent was never given, so it is your responsibility, your duty, to  listen to us when we are concerned about your company’s choices. Then, you receive a program outlining what you need to treat your condition, such as supplements & herbs. The Professional will give you a debit card to purchase these items on your program. To make sure your health is improving, you will make frequent visits to the Naturopathic/Holistic Practitioner’s office. Each visit the practitioner must exam you to determine any changes in the protocol to optimize the healing process. If this bill passes, for the first time a person with a serious illness or chronic disease state will have coverage in Massachusetts for diets that require very expensive super foods, tools, organic fruits and vegetables, supplements, vitamins, and other natural treatments that are prescribed by Naturopathic/Holistic practitioners. Over the long run this type of coverage will keep insurance and medical costs down. Through Naturopathic treatments patients learn to care for their body, develop an understanding of the body’s natural healing process, and become an intricate part of the healing process. This natural healing process will reduce medical costs because a person cured of their illness will not cost their insurance company exorbitant medical costs such as surgeries, pharmaceuticals, and other expensive treatment. The Medical professionals only treat the symptoms of the illness, not the root cause. Now with this new law patients who choose a natural approach can treat the cause of the illness, allowing that person to embark on a true healing process to start a new life, to have a second chance. It is evident that standardized testing is becoming unnecessary and repetitive, deviating from its original purpose. There is an excess number of tests administered, resulting in a loss of focus in the classroom and society as a whole. We challenge the Ohio Department of Education and Ohio educators, as well as the entire community, to devise a multilateral solution to this pressing issue.

LIPA has been doing an inefficient and uneffective job for years. By far the worst scenario is the lack of power to Long Islanders for days on end in the aftermath of Hurricane Sandy. We pay the highest rates in the country, and should be receiving reliable service.

Like many public schools across the country, New Jersey's Newark Public Schools are under attack by their own leadership. Many Newark students, residents, and district employees agree on state-appointed Superintendent Cami Anderson's gross mismanagement of the city's schools. Her policies have adversely affected its most vulnerable populations, particularly students with special needs. This year, the projected number of incoming Special Education (SPED) freshmen for Central High School, a comprehensive public high school, increased yet again. This is a direct result of the adoption of Anderson's One Newark Plan, an enrollment system that uses a biased algorithm to carelessly spread students across the district. Current projections indicate there will be 80 new Freshman SPED students, representing 29% of the total incoming Freshmen class, which the school cannot accommodate in compliance with law. The district percentage of special needs is 15%. That makes Central's Freshman SPED population 93% over the district’s average. Ignoring this phenomenon is a blatant attempt to create hardships in comprehensive schools in order for them to fail. Our principal, Sharnee Brown, has boldly taken action to fight this attack on Central High School's students, staff, and community.
