They are sending pregnant cows to auction off for the slaughter house, their sheep have lice, over the winter they stopped feeding their sheep grain and as a result their sheep endured miscarriages, gave birth to stillborn, and the ones that were lucky to make it to term refuse to nurture their offspring due to malnutrition! We need to take a stand!

I would like it to be an objective law, rather than a subjective choice by the employer, that background checks for gainful employment past 5 years should be eliminated with a few exceptions.

The President has taken an important step, by demanding that refinancing be made available to those who have kept up their mortgages whether they are upside down or not. This is an important step in the process, but it is not enough. More must be done to assist those in trouble and greater regulation on the financial institutions. Too many of these financial institution have become loan sharks, mobsters and thugs out to get as much as they can. (1) Therefore strong legislation must be in place to curtail Vegas type investments (gambling with others money) and make financiers criminally responsible for abuses. (2) Provide resources to assist struggling homeowners without modifications or poorly structured Modifications to correct the inequities. Also (3) To either reduce balances owed to present day values or mortgage rates to enable home owners to have affordable payments. Adjustments can be processed if economy speedily recovers on a case by case basis depending on the financial situation of the home owner. Agencies or groups that assist cannot receive or charge the home owner, but must receive compensation based on the extent of success of their efforts to homeowner built into the process.

Mr. President, direct the USDA to immediately BAN all "Pink Slime" Meat from being used in school lunches to protect our children's health.

Police should follow all mental health protocols when a person has mental health issues. Chief Awad knew there were mental health issues involved. Any officer who discharged their weapon during the incident should be FIRED! As we saw with Trayvon Martin, Jordan Davis, Rekia Boyd, Mike Brown, Tamir Rice and many others, an illegitimate fear of Black people, including children, is already a justification for killing them. "Stand Your Ground" laws make it easier to get away with violence against Black people. I urge you to fight back against this deadly law and veto it when it come to your desk.
