Help a college student in his time of need to pay off student loans.

Greetings, Bullying is a problem that affects millions of students of all races and classes. 1 out of 4 kids is bullied and 42% of kids have been bullied while online. Child and teen Bullying and Cyberbullying are at an all-time high. Some kids are so tormented that suicide has become an alternative for them. It has everyone worried. Not just the kids on its receiving end, but the parents and others who may not understand how extreme bullying can get. Bullying and Cyberbullying continue to harm kids physically, emotionally and the worst -- it continues to take lives. Just ask the family and friends of Jamie Rodemeyer, Kameron Jacobsen, Amanda Diane Cummings, Alexis Pilkington (New York),Tyler Clementi (New Jersey), Asher Brown (Texas), Scott Walz (Illinois), Christian Taylor (Virginia), Suade Cooley, Phoebe Prince, and Carl Joseph Walker-Hoover (Massachusetts), Matt Epling and Alex Harrison (Michigan), Jesse Logan (Ohio), Justin Aaberg (Minnesota), Celina Okwuone and Hope Witsell (Florida), Megan Meier (Missouri), Ryan Halligan (Vermont) and ALL of the others who took their lives because they were tormented on a daily basis. They might be here today if their schools had listened – if their schools took action and a stand against all forms of bullying -- including cyberbullying. They might be here today if the country had standardized legislation mandating schools to not only enforce a "No Tolerance" policy against bullying and cyberbullying -- but get involved and help the students -- rather than sweeping it under the rug. New Jersey and Massachusetts passed landmark legislation which requires schools to institute anti-bullying curriculum, investigate acts of bullying and report the most serious cases to law enforcement officers. New Jersey passed the toughest anti-bullying legislation in the country. Yet, all the legislation in the world won't matter if our schools ignore this epidemic, as the majority of America's schools are sweeping this issue under the rug. They take no responsibility in keeping our children safe. We ask you to pass strict, unified and national legislation throughout the country mandating that our schools help and protect our children, and enforce 'no tolerance' policies and anti-bullying legislation (including cyberbullying) so that our children can be safe in school and online. We ask that every school across the country have at least one trained person in bullying prevention who a student can go to at any time if they are being harassed or feel they are in danger and get immediate assistance. The cost of bullying and cyberbullying to our society is great and so are its effects. If we don't STOMP Out all forms of bullying now, we will lose more children to suicide, create a society of kids with post traumatic syndrome, and kids so full of hatred and violence that they grow up to be workplace bullies, and worse -- with even a greater cost to business and society. It is unfair for Ohio Medicaid Providers and it’s Senior citizens to be left in the dark looking for answers since MyCare Ohio took place on July 1st, 2014. Providers are facing a lot of challenge with Aetna and Molina. The Managed Care organizations are violating the rules and regulations under Mycare Ohio. Direct Care Waiver Services: Personal care, Waiver Nursing, Home Care Attendant, Choices Home Care Attendant, Out- of-Home Respite, Enhanced Community Living, Adult Day Health Services, Social Work Counseling, Independent Living Assistance. • Services will be maintained at current level and with current providers at the current Medicaid reimbursement rates for 365 days (the rule) All other Waiver Services: Home Medical Equip & Adaptive and Assistive Devise, Non-Emergent Transportation, Chore, Emergency Response System, Home Modification, Homemaker, Meals, Alternative Meals, Pest Control, Nutrition Consultation, and Community Transition. • Services will be maintained at current level for 365 days, and existing provider at existing rate for 90 days. Other Issues providers face are as following: • Claims being rejected even with the correct billing information entered • Delay in payments for months without being able to track them on their portal • Partial checks received even after waiting for months • Lack of Portal Accessibility and limiting access to provider so provider’s won’t be able to track payment status and see what is submitted. • Providers are forced to drop client’s due to lack of payments and insurance failure. • HMO Case managers are lacking experience with consumer’s current services and needs • Providers rate reductions by Molina and telling providers it’s a system issues. • Consumer’s are confused with what will happen to them under MyCare Ohio • No customer support to solve provider issues and questions except calling Aetna or Molina office that are often lack of experience themselves. After carefully reviewing the disaster caused by MyCare Ohio; it is affecting everyone with our Senior citizens and the Disabled being abandoned by this new system. Providers are trying to do their best to provider the much-needed services to our senior citizens but It’s very difficult with expenses going and no money coming in from those managed care organizations and holding provider checks. It is time to take action, to stand up for our Senior Citizens, providers and tell the senators why they supporting this MyCare Ohio and hold them countable for this mess. We, the undersigned, petition the Jersey City Board of Education to appoint Gina Verdibello to the vacant board seat that will occur as a result of Mr. John Reichart's announced resignation, effective November 18, 2016.

Contaminated soil has repeatedly been found at Greenwich schools and parks. We want the Town of Greenwich and the Board of Education to be proactive not reactive on this issue. Test the soil and prove it's safe!

Teachers deserve paid parental leave.

Revoke the use of local Math and English standardized assessments to be used as the sole factor in determining retention or placement into transitional grades. Decisions about retention and promotion at the elementary level will be made by consultation with the classroom teacher, the student/guardians, and other appropriate professionals.
