To bring truth, justice and long overdue accountability to this historic case, the Emmett Till Legacy Foundation (ETLF), its supporters and family members of Emmett Till are demanding that: 1. Mississippi Attorney General Lynn Fitch and W. Dewayne Richardson ​District Attorney for the Fourth Circuit Court District of Mississippi, request that the Mississippi Law enforcement, and the Sheriff of Leflore County immediately, serve the warrant on Carolyn Bryant Donham, wherever she may be found. 2. Reactivate the case regarding the death of Emmett Louis Till. 3. Conduct a more transparent and extensive investigation, including impaneling a new Grand Jury to specifically address the culpability and actions of Carolyn Bryant Donham in the kidnapping that led to the lynching and murder of Emmett Louis Till. 4. Carolyn Bryant Donham, the last known living recognized accomplice, be charged with kidnapping and murder immediately. The new evidence proves her culpability. 5. An official apology to the Till Family from the Federal Government, Department of Justice, the State of Mississippi and local law enforcement for the human rights violation, wrongful death, kidnapping and lynching of Emmett Louis Till, and for the miscarriage and obstruction of justice in the 1955 trial.

The National Security Advisor is the most important job in Washington after the President and President-elect Trump's appointee, retired General Lt. Michael Flynn, is unfit for the job. Flynn shares the same type of fake news that led a gunman to open fire in a Washington D.C. pizza restaurant on Dec 4th. We cannot afford to have such a gullible, paranoid, Islamaphobe in this most-critical post. We join more than 50 nonprofits calling on Trump to rescind Flynn's nomination. Flynn has promoted fake news stories that Obama is a “jihadi” who “laundered” money for Muslim terrorists, that the Clintons committed “sex crimes with children” and “secretly waged war” on the Catholic Church. He joined chants of "Lock her up!" at the Republican National Convention. Since Aug. 9 he has promoted 16 fake news stories on Twitter. Flynn tweeted that “Fear of Muslims is RATIONAL” and voiced unusual views about a connection between China and terrorist organizations. He's retweeted anti-semitic posts. His murky relationship with Russia has been labeled by a Pentagon official as “extremely odd.” Flynn was dismissed from the Defense Intelligence Agency over abusive management tactics. One former colleague described him as “unable to draw consistent conclusions” and Colin L. Powell, Former Secretary of State under George W. Bush, called him “right-wing nutty.” The National Security Advisor will have the last word on how the president should respond to international crises. The shooting of a Washington D.C. pizza restaurant on Dec. 4th was a wake up call that fake news stories can have very real consequences. President-elect Donald Trump's appointee for National Security Advisor has promoted these same kind of dangerous crackpot theories and he must be stopped from directing American military strategies in pursuit of a paranoid agenda. During a growing tide of nationalism around the world, the US needs a National Security Advisor who is level-headed, and retired General Lt. Michael Flynn is the opposite.

While George Zimmerman sits at home in his easy chair, guzzling his beer and watching Championship Wrestling with his court date being delayed and delayed and even being able to sue the news, media, etc., Marissa Alexander—a battered woman—languishes in prison behind outright trumped-up charges by the state attorney's office for her "crime" of self-defense. She had to "go get her gun," a legally licensed firearm, out of her vehicle. Mrs. Jackelyn Barnard, Director of Communications, has, due to my complaint to Mrs. Corrine Brown's offices about this case, sent me by email 911 tapes and attachments of charges against Mrs. Alexander—all stemming from this lone incident—that are carefully worded, practically describing her as some out-of-control, wild-eyed cowboy chasing children and victims through their house and firing wildly into the air. She also claimed that Mrs. Alexander went to her abusive husband's residence and "he ended up with a black eye." For these clutching-at-straws accusations, she's supposed to be justifiably sentenced to 20 YEARS in prison, having no prior criminal convictions whatsoever. SHE was a battered woman. Her husband has never been sentenced to 20 years for all the beatings he's made HER endure, including while she was pregnant. This is absolutely a case of judicial misconduct. She is not deserving of prison time—period—for having become fed up with being beaten up and berated by her abusive husband. Remember, a woman was allowed to TORCH her husband HOURS after a bad beating. Not only did she not do any time, but a TV movie was made about her pain and suffering. Mrs. Alexander has undoubtedly suffered "battered woman syndrome," and she does NOT deserve to be sentenced at all—let alone sentenced for longer than outright murderers and other career criminals. Please sign this petition for the IMMEDIATE RELEASE and DISMISSAL of ALL CHARGES against Mrs. Marissa Alexander, and return her to her family in safety.

America's endless wars are making us less safe, causing tremendous loss of life, and fueling historic instability. Commit to end these wars in your first 100 days in office by bringing all US troops home from Iraq, Syria, and Afghanistan.

MSNBC should suspend Chris Matthews, host of Hardball, because of his constant shilling for Hillary Clinton. In every episode of Hardball, in every "exclusive" interview with Clinton, he gives her endless time to make her case, repeats her talking points, gives her softball questions, denigrates Bernie Sanders and his people powered movement and reinforces the narrative that she will be the Democratic nominee. Matthews should be removed from the air for the duration of the campaign or he should be required to give Bernie equal time.

We fight for Women's Rights and for LGBTQ Rights. But why do we leave out Children's Rights?
