Senator Steve Daines: Call for AG Sessions to resign

Attorney General Sessions lied under oath during his confirmation hearing when he said he had never had any contacts with the Russian government. He committed perjury and must resign. Anything short of his resignation weakens our democracy and tells others that it's okay to lie even if your are under oath. An independent prosecutor must be appointed by his successor to thoroughly investigate the Trump campaign and family to determine if and what US laws have been broken.
