social security cuts

I'm so disappointed in our congress and president at the moment because social security and medicare have become pawns in a game of chess. Fraud in medicare is an issue and should be dealt with which would save millions of dollars. The government has created the problem with social security as they have dipped into these funds. If they had have been left intact. there would be no perceived problem. With the billions of profit for oil companies it's time to cut the aid they receive. They are sucking the life out of this country at the expense of all of us. The penalties put on them are a joke as it's peanuts to them and they don't have solutions to fix all of their errors in spills, etc.
