Social Security Trust Preservation Act

Prevent taking money I've paid for my Social Security and retirement from being used for anything else.

Why is this important?

Stop Social Security collection until retirement repayments are guaranteed.
Social security comes out of a specific portion of your paycheck, the one that is labeled FICA. As Ronald Reagan put it when asked about affecting social security, when you reduce Social Security benefits (reimbursements), that would only increase the amount of money accumulating in the Social Security Trust. Currently, law makers are proposing to use the trust to balance other areas of the budget by lowering reimbursements and invading the trust for other purposes. This proposal seeks to make it illegal to redirect funds out of the trust.
