Soft opening of Hair salons in Nebraska
Allow salons to open with one client per stylist at a time with no more than 5 people total. Stylists can wear gloves and masks and use all other required hygiene and sanitation practices.
Why is this important?
Cosmetologists are self employed and will be taking a financial hit during this crisis. Allowing them to open up would ensure they are able to remain in business. There is less risk of the virus spreading in a salon with 5 people or less than in a grocery store. Most if not all salons already have sanitation practices in place that would ensure the virus doesn’t spread.
