Speak Out for a Woman’s Right to Choose!
I will honor and celebrate the tremendous legacy of the pro-choice movement by recommitting myself to pro-choice activism in 2013;
I believe that reproductive health services, from contraception to abortion services to family planning, is critical for women and families and I will be an outspoken advocate for these vital services;
I will take action against all state and federal efforts to undermine a woman’s right to choose and women’s reproductive health services;

Why is this important?
January 22, 2013 marks the 40th anniversary of Roe v. Wade, the historic Supreme Court decision that legalized abortion nationwide. Yet opponents of a woman’s right to choose continue to wage constant attacks at both the federal and state levels, enacting 43 state-level abortion restrictions in 2012 and a record-breaking 92 in 2011. And it’s not just Roe that is under attack- access to birth control and funding for family planning face continuous threats. Take a stand today!
