Currently, St. Joe Avenue and Boonville New Harmony intersection is a two way stop. Traffic traveling Northbound and Southbound have the right of way and do not stop. While the stop sign is easily visible during most parts of the day, at sunrise and sunset, visibility of the stop sign can be hampered by the rising and setting sun. We would like to propose a study to be done to see if a 4 way stop at that intersection would reduce the number of accidents.
Why is this important?
I would like to find a way to prevent more accidents from happening in that intersection. I have been a personal victim of a T-bone accident at that intersection.
