Stand Up for Troops on Veterans Day

Republicans in the U.S. Senate have reached a new low. While unscrupulous predatory lenders literally rob American soldiers as they fight to defend our nation, the people who send them to war don’t have the decency to provide them with basic consumer protections.

The Consumer Financial Protection Bureau was created because scammers see troops as nothing more than a dollar sign in a uniform. Our heroes shouldn’t have to worry about abusive debt collectors and shady payday lenders. They should be focused on doing their job and coming home safe.
