Why is this important?
As senior I struggle between a meal and medication that is needed for my disablitiy. From another report it was written; all reports I’ve seen, President Obama is going to propose a budget plan this week that is unprecedented for a Democratic President. It will propose a cut to Social Security benefits for seniors, veterans and people with disabilities.
As a senior many of the elderly and disabled depend on their only means of income which is social security. Why take away our lifeline! Most of us would still be working today, but because of our disablity our jobs were taken away. We had to adjust to our monthly income. We are just a paycheck from living under the bridge. With this proposed cut it will become a reality!
