President Obama broke his campaign promise to keep Social Security off the table in budget negotiations. By signing this petition you are requesting the Senate and the House to reject this proposal and to vote to keep Social Security off the table until a later time. There are 20 years before Social Security becomes a problem. It has nothing to do with the deficit and is the only healthy financial system in the entire federal government. It should be removed from any budget discussion leading into resolving the fiscal cliff.
