Stop internet speed reduction in rural America

We want Verizon to eliminate their policy of cutting off high speed service (4G) to rural users who depend on cellular modems for their only internet access. Verizon currently throttles back speeds after only 15 GB total usage. The effect of that is now making the internet virtually unusable, with measured speeds below 90 kbps in some cases , and a complete lack of connectivity in others.

Why is this important?

Rural Americans depend on internet access at all times. In the current crisis, access to up-to-date information and the ability work and be educated at home is truly critical. 15GB per month is utterly insufficient. Minimally effective internent access is essential for the health and economic well being of rural residents. Verizon can fix this with a flip of a switch. They must do so immediately.
