Stop Kavanaugh — #MeToo

Mail Campaign to “yes” voting Senators for Kavanaugh — “You can do better.”

Why is this important?

Make things personal. If you are a constituent of a “yes” voting Senator, you have a chance to make yourself heard. Entitle the missive: “You Can Do Better.”

If you are a domestic violence, rape, or sexual assault survivor send copies of your medical records and police reports to the following:

YOU ARE NOT POWERLESS. Here’s what you can do to fight. Sen. Coons was visibly moved to do the right thing because personal friends called and told him of their sexual assaults:

Call, write, fax, and show up to the offices of these Senators -
Shelley Moore Capito
Susan Collins
Joe Donnelly
Jeff Flake
Heidi Heitkamp
Dean Heller
Joe Manchin
Jerry Moran
Lisa Murkowski
Jon Tester

This list is a combo of GOP Senators that are teetering on the edge of being decent human beings (or reasonable facsimiles) and a handful of red-state Dems who might need encouragement. Keep the pressure on. Even if you don’t live in their states, remind their staffs that you have every right to a voice because this SCOTUS decision affects EVERYONE in the United States for generations to come.

Don’t succumb to hopelessness, despair, and rage. Use that power to fight back; use that power to change the trajectory of the future of this country. YOU CAN DO THIS. I know you can. I believe in you, I believe in all of us. Rest if you need it and ask for help if you need it because self-care is the key to survival and success.

#MeToo You got this.
