What planet do you live on? On mine, I only get my small SS check, got a $21 raise, but also got a $5 medicare premium raise and a $24 raise in my Part D premium, so I have a net loss again.
Why is this important?
Every time you give me a "raise" in cost of living, the REAL COST OF LIVING IS WAY HIGHER THAN THE RAISE YOU JUST GAVE ME, and I am further behind than I was before. I got a $21 Social Security raise, a $5 Medicare Preium raise, and a $24 Part D Premium raise. Lets see, that makes me $8.oo poorer than I was before the raise. How do you expect the truly poor to survive?
