Police Unions and Lobbyists have been convincing state reps across this nation to make it a crime to audio and video record the police officers doing their jobs on public streets. We pay all of these public servants, and we have a right to record their activity on public streets. We the people should have the right to hold them accountable or commendable while they're performing their duties on our behalf.
Why is this important?
We the people should have the right to hold law enforcement officials accountable or commendable while they're performing their duties on our behalf. Audio and video recording them performing their duties at a safe distance should not be a crime.
