End the use of the term "Entitlements," which is wrong and misleading. It gives license to the determination of Republicans and now the Obama Administration to privatize or severly cut Social Security. We have paid for Social Security taxes as have our employers. They are EARNED BENEFITS not entitlements. What is in a word? A lot!
Why is this important?
The misleading use of the term "Entitlements" which suggests expectations without any responsibility on the part of the recipient. It has encouraged the attempts to cut Social Security Benefits by the Republicans and now President Obama.
