Equity Residential has been strategically attempting to dismantle or impede Rent Control and Below Market Rate laws that help to create fair housing. Equity is the epitome of a slum lord with complaints from tenants stretching from Florida to California. We must stop Equity Residential and expose them for who they really are especially since they are the #1 property management corporation in the country.

This petition is to stop the largest property residential corporation from trying to destroy "Rent Control" and "Below Market Rate" apts laws. Anyone who believes in fair housing laws should sign.
