Stop the Arkansas Bill (HB 1570)
I would like Gov. Asa Hutchinson to veto the bill (HB 1570) and give transgender people their rights back. Without this treatment, it can cause severe gender dysphoria, which can lead to suicidal thoughts and severe depression. Science has even proved that transgender people have minds that connect more with the gender they want to identify with.
Why is this important?
This is important because as a member of the LGBTQIA+ community, everyone should be treated equally, and stuff like this should NOT happen. Transgender youth are beautiful people who just want to be seen as the gender they identify with. This bill is very dangerous because it won't help innocent children who need the treatment to be able to successfully transition. This bill is a gateway for states to make more anti-transgender laws, that is not good!
