Stop the attack on doctors and patients.
The health insurance industry, spearheaded by Blue Cross Blue shield for decades now has been singling out doctors simply because of excess spending, calling it Medicare fraud. They're formula has never looked at outcomes, just excess spending. The reason for the excess spending is logical. Good life-saving safe drugs are overpriced.The icing on the cake was the passing of the HFPP or health care fraud and protection program which was spearheaded by Donald Trump and Jeff sessions. This allowed insurance companies to use non-clinical data analysis, that has been condoned by the FDA and experts to lower the threshold of what is considered fraud and abuse to such a low point, that even minor in discretions like giving patients trigger point injections to supplement oral pain management can result in a 100-year jail sentence as this happened to a friend of mine in Texas.
Doctors of color constitute about 12% of you doctors in this country and yet about 35% of those doctors attacked are of color. We have no explanation for this. Those doctors that are white that are being attacked work in highly concentrated Medicare and Medicaid communities. So, it's clear that they're focusing on doctors that take care of the indigent, poor and needy.
They manufactured a fake prescription opiate epidemic. Now we know that there's zero proof zero evidence that prescription opiates were ever involved and the so-called opiate crisis. Now that they have taken caring doctors who care for those with chronic disease and chronic pain out of the picture, people are reaching out to the streets and buying drugs that they mislabel as things like Vicodin only to be that deadly acetyl fentanyl or street fentanyl which is not regular fentanyl and is very deadly. The number of dead as a result of overdoses have skyrocketed to biblical proportions, yet the The DEA and FBI spearheaded by Blue Cross Blue shield continues to go after the doctors.
In 2022 close to 17% of doctors in the workforce have left because of things like burnout due to excess work, poor reimbursement and the poorly managed pandemic. So doctors are being removed to maximize insurance company profits. The less doctors they less they have to pay and therefore the higher the insurance company profits. This is compounded now by doctors leaving the workforce. Patients are caught in the crossfire. As a result of this, all chronic diseases have doubled that of any other developed country. 20% of all suicides are now due to chronic pain, which dwarfs the previous number of less than 0.5% due to untreated pain and untreated chronic disease. Despite this, the health insurance industry profited $500 billion dollars 2020 300 million of that of which went from insurance company lobbyist to Congress.
The ones that are really hurt here are not so much the doctors, but the American public who is caught in the crossfire and the government in the USA is turning the other cheek. Major news stations such as CNN will not talk about this. It is all a cover up.
It is time, that the lower courts respected SCOTUS decisions in 1925 linder versus USA, and most recently Ruan versus USA to let doctors make their own decisions and not come between doctors and patients. Incidentally, despite SCOTUS (The supreme Court of the United States) in the above decisions stating that treating chronic pain with prescription opiates is no different than treating hypertension or diabetes, Dr Ruan is still in jail serving a 20-year sentence. The lower courts, want to destroy the Constitution and are paying the mind to what's supreme Court has said and that is destroying or democracy. They have gone for my democracy, to an anocracy and now to an authoritative fascist government.
Congress must act. They must pardon all the doctors that have been incarcerated simply for trying to help their patients. And, it is not just prescription opiates which was fake, but for anything involving aggressive care of their patients simply to appease the health insurance companies so they can make better profits at the expense of the well-being of well intended doctors and the American public.. patients go to doctors and get very little help because doctors are afraid to practice their art. Congress must pass a bill protecting the well-being of doctors and patients and stop these unjust incarcerations and once again, pardon those doctors that have been victim for the system and have lost everything including your families.

Why is this important?
We are last in healthcare of any developed country, twice the instance of psychiatric disease and all out of diseases despite major insurance company profits. Drug dealers are making record profits off needy chronic pain patients which are resulting in record over dose deaths yet our government is turning the other cheek.
