Stop The Fast Track

Just say no to the "Fast Track Legislation" for the Free Trade Agreement. Allowing the the Fast Track would push the new Free Trade Agreement: the TransPacific Partnership (TPP) through Congress and onto the executive branch without an open discussion. The negotiations of the Free Trade Agreement are secret but allow 600+ corporations access to the trade agreements but not our US legislators or the people affected by the decisions of negotiators.

Why is this important?

We want a trade policy that creates jobs, protects the workers, protects the environment and promotes public health. Unfortunately, the legacy of recent trade agreements has been just the opposite and we do not have confidence that the TPP is going to achieve these goals without Congress exerting its authority and exercising additional oversight over the negotiations.
