Stop the Theft of a Citizen's Right to Vote

I am preparing this petition because it is clear to me that certain of our Republican political operatives have a personal interest in making it more difficult for the poor, the elderly, the young and the black and brown segments of our society to exercise their right to cast a ballot. This SHOULD be deeply troubling to anyone who believes the right to vote is essential to the preservation of our democracy, AND that any action which ignores the intersection of institutionalized prejudices and the manipulation of power for the privileged elites in America is blind to its harm.
