⚠️ STOP THE UP-NS MERGER!! ⚠️
The merger cannot continue because of the many cons that contains they never mentioned any of it mostly Union Pacific always talks about making it VERY annoying and it just doesn’t make sense especially its effects 57% of the biggest passenger railroad across the states network it is Amtrak. Amtraks network will be taken half causing delays in their travel and mainly the public doesn’t agree with this idea either will take away peoples jobs force BNSF and CSX to merger, big monopoly, expensive costs, change supply chains, I will predict that this company will collapse because it’s too much power and for a rail road.
Why is this important?
The biggest network will be taken half but 57% is Amtrak this is a bad idea because of the delays they will endure making travel harder to go to places when they say they will take you places to places in ease we don’t want Amtrak to lie about it don’t we? And the fact is that it’s full acquisition AND it’s a matter of fact a monopoly decision most of the railroaders don’t agree with this idea and the people’s work will also cut off meaning losing their job is a big deal rumors say it will force BNSF/CSX to merger but we don’t know that if it’s true even tho CSX said a partnership with BNSF would be better but the impact could happen badly. Union Pacific doesn’t mention about Norfolk southern and the name is too long it doesn’t have to name of Norfolk southern to honor how they decided to help but accept UP didn’t want doesn’t that sound sus to you? Their idea sucks they should not continue this project because what I’ve been saying it show proof that this merger should not move a single inch of merging. Also does CPKC mean nothing to UP? They merged to help but it meant nothing to UP even tho it’s across the three countries of USA MEX and CAN also mention the penn central it’s literally that same history but different company that’s my why I created this petition.
