Why is this important?
On Wed,May 23 Pennsylvania State Rep. Daryl Metcalfe (R-Butler) will introduce his bill known as the Whole Woman’s Health Funding Priority Act to the PA State Legislature. This legislation, which was co-written by the anti-abortion activist groups Susan B. Anthony List and Allience Defense Fund, would put health care providers that offer abortion services at the bottom of the priority list for state funding. The proposed pill is very similar to the one Arizona lawmakers passed earlier this year to defund Planned Parenthood. .
