Stop Trump from destroying Tongass National Forest!
Dear USDA staff,
I strongly urge you to oppose the opening of 10 million acres of land in Alaska’s Tongass National Forest for mining and logging projects. This would severely compromise our last remaining truly wild forest and be a huge blow to biodiversity. These lands are home to pacific salmon, iconic bald eagles, southern resident orcas, and even a 1000-year-old tree! It also contains the traditional homelands of the Tlingit, Haida and Tsimshian Peoples.

Why is this important?
If Trump gets his way, 9.2 million acres of the world’s largest intact temperate rainforest could be destroyed. With your help, we can stop this attack on one of our nation's most iconic wild places. But only have until December 15th to take action!
