Stop With The Drones, Already!
Dear Mr. President,
Please stop the use of drones in your War on Terrorism program. Too many innocent civilians are dying along with the intended individuals on your "Kill List".
We ask you as a leader of "moral" conviction to realize that the use of drones is should not be an option of a country that calls itself civilized and responsible. Is it really acceptable to kill someone with our technological hardware, controlled by a virtual pilot halfway around the world? Is that the sign of a strong, ethical country?
We believe there are conventional human resources that can be used to more effectively and humanely conduct these operations.
Why is this important?
The President is conducting a War on Terrorism that uses inaccurate, unethical and inhumane drone strikes, that are killing too many civilians along with their intended terrorist targets.
There are better, more effective and moral ways to deal with terrorists, that by the way don't create future terrorists from the friends and family of the civilians killed in drone attacks. Please ask the President to stop his current use of drones in the War on Terrorism.
