I believe that the laws about animal abuse and neglect should be stronger in North Carolina. Any person convicted of a Class H felony because of animal abuse or neglect should never be allowed to own or care for another animal.
Why is this important?
Animals need better rights. Many animals are abused or neglected each year and very little is done to help prevent an animal from getting abused or neglected.
