Abolish the electoral college. Tell Florida state politicians to support the National Popular Vote Interstate Compact: an agreement among a group of states to award all their respective electoral votes to whichever presidential candidate wins the overall popular vote in the 50 states and the District of Columbia. One citizen, one vote is how we should elect the President.
Why is this important?
People are disenchanted with how they are represented and don't think their vote counts. There have been two presidential elections in recent history (Bush and Trump) that have been determined by the electoral college, even though the opposing candidate received more popular votes. One citizen, one vote is true democracy.
