Why is this important?
I believe that Indigenous problems are American problems, and all of us as Americans should be concerned with what is happening to the original people of this land. Senator Tester's legislation would give tribes funds for victims of violent crime to get access to medical, psychological, and emotional resources, and receive counseling on the justice system.
