NATO is the North Atlantic Treaty Organization. It is the greatest threat to peace the world has ever known. NATO is a relic of the 'cold war' era and has no other purpose than to expand the influence and control of imperialist powers like the USA, Great Britain, and Germany.
Why is this important?
I am affected by this issue every day because the services of the people are cut to pay for this expensive NATO operation. This money can rebuild our infrastructure, provide a state of the art learning environment for our children, fund university education, provide free health care, Social Security, Medicare/Medicaid benefits, provide funds to restore our parks and recreation areas, and most of all, provide alternative thinking about how to resolve conflicts in our world. That's why I started this petition to ABOLISH NATO!
