If society in general was for some reason become limited to just ten percent of human population in the entire world, what would be the new survival ability mechanism in place amongst people surviving on minimal substantive needs. Corporate agriculture would become totally inept, hence the existence of supermarkets would become part of a greater ghost town of what use to be urban society or towns. Rural society, such as society goes in interpretation, would be the people who would create small communities that knew how to grow and develop food, hence the agriculturist/horticulturist would become the equivalent metaphorical corporate CEO of present day wall street culture – anyone who knew how to plant food, cultivate live stock, build a house, or practice some basic holistic medicine would be the new powers of the day in an environment of Armageddon circumstances and social environment.
Society in the United States of America would retrogress to eighteenth and nineteenth century social organization, with very little contemporary assets that humans are presently use to having. Working just to survive daily would become a daily necessity, hence communal living amongst human beings would be an asset to human survival, for survival sake. The quality of life would have a double contradiction indivisibly – though the quality of life would fall, hence life expectancy. But the quality of life in some aspects would greatly improve, and that would be humankind’s ability to ascertain what is practical and absolutely needed as a contributing factor to the human comminutes survival – for this reason, ideas in education for the young would take on a completely different syllabus scenario. Culture would take on a whole new eclectic perspective in comparison to the existing twenty-first century digital culture of self-centered covetish gluttony for the sake of pointless ownership and hoarding. Religion or philosophy or both, would take on perspectives largely centered on the values of sustainable systems environmental ecology (ecomerritt.org) due to extremely limited labor power (extreme depletion of population demographics), and demands made of existing human population demographics to participate in agricultural and animal husbandry practices. City’s could very easily become wastelands of a time that use to exist, but exercise very little precedence in the culture of Armageddon due to extreme human population demographic retrogression in consensus observation and accounting.

How many of us in urban life and living, know how to perserve a forest area for vitally needed lumber/wood or medicinal herbs? How many of us know how to make cloths, or create a make shift hospital environment for those who need immediate medical primary care. How many of us living in urban culture know the value of caring for an orchard for fresh fruits, vital to essential health. In truth, when it come so basic needs of survival techniques, urban population are extremely ignorant in the potential face of any kind of Armageddon.
For example, if citizens living in major citys in California where struck by an Armageddon of major earthquakes, most of us are not awhere of the values already set in place of the Master Gardeners of San Mateo & San Francisco Counties: smsf-mastergardeners.ucanr.org, which is a source of sustainable systems environmental ecology (ecomerritt.org , and ‘Division of Agriculture and Natural Resources: UC Cooperative Extension/Agricultural Experiment Station: ucanr.edu), that deals with several aspects of sustainable ecology, beside gardening, that could easily address subjects of surviving after an Armageddon Event, that urban society is totally ignorant of as a way and means of survival after an event of Armageddon.
