WKCT: Take Rush Limbaugh off the air in Bowling Green. Hate talk, including his obscene attack on Sandra Fluke, is unacceptable in our community.
Why is this important?
When Rush Limbaugh called Georgetown University student Sandra Fluke a slut and a prostitute and demanded she provide “sex tapes” so that he could view them, simply because she advocated for wider access to birth control , he was widely condemned by people of every political persuasion with diverse opinions on contraception who simply believe that no woman should be disrespected in this manner, and certainly not on our public airways. As a result 140 major advertisers have pulled their ads from the Limbaugh show.
Join us in demanding that WKCT take Limbaugh off the air. Let’s make Bowling Green a place where this kind of obscene hate talk is not acceptable.
