Target had a stellar reputation for promoting diversity both in its merchandise and in its hiring practices. This was the store where Michelle Obama famously shopped when Barack was the President. You made an effort to hire LBGTQ people. After George Floyd's murder you made a commitment to Black Americans to hire and promote them. Now, you are retreating from DEI. DEI works because it creates a welcoming community for ALL people.
